Finishing things is hard — [Finished] Some socks.
These have been sitting around half finished since probably November, which is partially a lesson against knitting 72 st socks on 2.25 needles for myself (64 stitches on 2.5 mm needles goes so much faster). But the only thing that finally got me to sit down and knit the final 12 rows was it is about time to knit my daughter another pair of socks and I refused to start another project unless I finished one.

Starting a new project is always full of potential and ending an old one means you have to live with all your choices, like the toe that makes my feet look so incredibly pointy.
I’ve now knit four pairs of socks for myself, and three pairs for D., so both of us wear my handknit socks pretty often and one goal this year is to get those numbers up so we wear them most of the time. And A. is going to be walking any day now so he’s going to be needing socks too, so soon that will have to be a focus too.
