Fiction
(I'm going to mostly focus on noting what fiction I've read this year, since I skip around a lot of nonfiction but I haven't read a ton of fiction since I was much younger)
- Operation: Outer Space (1954):
This is almost more of a list of ideas (and then kind of a travelogue) than a story; I wish we got to the actual conflict a little earlier and that it lasted longer. I think I'm going to remember some of the ideas, though. Incredibly cynical, and ultimately correct, about the direction of the media and business worlds.
- The Gods Themselves (1972):
LOVED this. The alien society was great, and the human behavior was troublingly prescient.
Uncle Tom's Cabin (1852):
To Each This World (2022):
I'm going to finish this, but I didn't love it.
